To Moosomin against a strong headwind
Back to Brandon with a strong tail wind!
Just after one o'clock, we set out for Regina. On this stretch, the few public airports with available fuel are far apart. With a strong headwind, this is an especially important factor to consider. Werner chooses the most direct route, which has a refuelling possibility at Moosomin. Other than the strong headwind, the weather is beautiful. After so many individual flights just to get through Ontario, it seems strange to fly right across Manitoba in only two.
A prairie dog scurrying across the runway to safety!
