Leaving Gore Bay Airport
A clear brisk sunny morning greets us as we
emerge from our tent! While sleeping bags air out
on FZO's struts, a breakfast of sandwich and fruit
gets us going.
A pleasant chat about the Manitoulin scene over a
good cup of coffee with the ever- hospitable
Robbie affirms what we love about the island.
After the usual routine of packing up, flight
planning, refuelling, the "walkaround" (pilot checks
over the plane before each flight), we strap
ourselves in, headsets on-- ready for take-off!
