An Eye for a Huge Slough or Lake
Waterloo to Calgary in a Cessna 150
This round lake appears rather shallow. The algae-type plants
growing in the middle create the effect of a dark-green/blue iris
on an eyeball.
We suspect, but we're not quite sure whether the light-
coloured edging indicates some alkali build-up as water
evaporates, or if it's all just sandy...
